Nelumbo Tee – The Sacred Lotus Lineage
Born from the primordial waters of ancient Egypt, Nelumbo nucifera—the pink lotus—was revered as a symbol of creation, cosmic harmony, and renewal. Though the Egyptians primarily honored the blue and white lotus in earlier times, the pink lotus was later introduced and featured prominently during the Ptolemaic era as a symbol of beauty and rebirth.
The seeds may have traveled via wind or water—or carried by ancient peoples—across continents until they reached the ponds of Japan. During Obon season, this lotus blooms as a living symbol of returning ancestral spirits and cyclical renewal of memory and life.

ネルンボ・Tee — 聖なるハスの系譜
